FARGO, N.D – A dramatic car crash and fire led to the arrest of two individuals in Fargo early Tuesday morning.

According to the Fargo Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Cherry Lane and 32nd Avenue North shortly after 12:00 a.m. on March 18. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle engulfed in flames and two people standing outside.

An investigation revealed that the vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Dengdit Geu, had crashed into two parked cars on the side of the road, causing the fire. Geu was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).

The passenger, 25-year-old Chol John, was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Both individuals were taken to the Cass County Jail.

The Fargo Fire Department also responded to the scene to extinguish the fire.
